ResMed Pixi Pediatric CPAP Mask
The ResMed Pixi™ pediatric mask is specially designed for children ages two to seven. Incorporating features that improve comfort and encourage therapy acceptance, the Pixi is constructed based on anthropometric data that takes into account bone structure, facial characteristics and skin sensitivity of children to minimize pressure on soft faces. The Pixi pediatric mask also offers comfort and safety features that give caregivers peace of mind.
The Pixi Pediatric CPAP Mask is designed specifically for use by children age two and above.
ResMed Pixi Pediatric CPAP Mask Features:
The Pixi offers a single-wall, lightweight, soft silicone cushion to minimize pressure on the child's face without affecting the mask's seal.
The headgear for the Pixi offers ease to remove the child's mask quickly during sleep or in the event of an emergency.
The headgear is lightly colored and made of a lightweight, subtle material. It is designed to rest away from the eyes to avoid vision restrictions and irritation.
The tube can be attached to either side of the cushion to accommodate sleeping position. The spring-flex, lightweight tubing bends and stretches to help prevent getting caught while sleeping.
Caregiver Notes & Safety
- Intended for children age 2 and above — always confirm fit and comfort before unattended use.
- Inspect the mask, tubing and headgear regularly for wear and replace parts per manufacturer guidance.
